For Fergus Bob Howard Verse 1: Many days I sit ... stare through ancient [A7sus4]leaded glass in the light of spring A celebration rings Say a prayer just in case find grace, find grace, find grace wait for my angel to embrace Verse 2: say grace and wait send a message from my heart hope greets the dawn Gliding with a swan Say a prayer just in case find grace, find grace, find grace wait for my angel to embrace Say a prayer just in case find grace, find grace, find grace wait for my angel And give thanks

The Open Road Bob Howard Verse 1: I don't remember where I lost my mind. It's a funny thing to find sittin' on the counter in a jar. I'd been arguing with my shadow and it seems my shadow won. I believe I'll go find a place where I can just sit ... in the sun Chorus: The open road calls me away from all I know, nothing ever stays the same, it's time to go. Verse 2: My shadow's my constant companion, he never leaves my side. I trust him like my brother, in him I confide. I saw him though yesterday, flirting with my bride. My shadow's loose, there's nothing left to hide, inside. Verse 3: Next thing I know, I'm all alone, talkin' to myself. My shadow knew my deepest thoughts, everything I held. Don't think twice, I think I said, it's all she wrote. The day is long, the sun is bright, no shadows on the road.

One Black Shoe by Bob Howard One black shoe, One black shoe One black shoe, One black shoe One black shoe, left behind One black shoe, no other clue Early one morning, two hours past midnight Same old crowd, room was loud There she stood, misunderstood Looking for someone, welcoming no one (Repeat Chorus) Open the door, just like before Nothing stops me, feeling no pain Needing some caffeine, needing to see Searching …in time… for some clue (Repeat Chorus) May be, maybe not Just one black shoe, no other clue Some—times---- There are no answers Just one black shoe, to misconstrue (Repeat chorus to end 2x)

about

"Bob Howard’s delightful debut release “Sticky Notes and Warm Pancakes” is a heartwarming homage to a lifetime of fond memories. The songwriting delivers a fresh new angle on things as Bob shares his personal perspectives in his own unique way. Listening to the record is like joining him on a road trip, a nostalgic ride through his childhood and his very spirit. These are just as much paintings as they are songs, leaving indelible crystal clear images as the stories unfold. Allowing yourself the opportunity to let this record become a part of your own life will leave you enriched, entertained, and changed for the better." Brent Alan - Recording Engineer-August 2018
